Came here on a Saturday at 1:30 and were seated right away. To my surprise, they were still serving brunch! The weekly special included a French Toast that sounded amazing, but I decided to go with the Chicken Club (this time haha) while my wife ordered the Turkey Burger. The food came out quickly, and I was impressed by the portion sizes. The Club was great, especially with the hand-cut fries, and my wife LOVED her Turkey Burger! Overall great experience and very affordable. The staff are super friendly, and the owner, Scott, is a very genuine guy. We'll definitely be coming back (gotta try those weekly specials!)

Exquisite fine-dining food with the most laid-back, comforting patio vibe — absolutely amazing! Simply the most wonderful experience at Didi’s Downtown. The food is next-level — every bite felt thoughtfully prepared and exquisitely delicious, like something you’d expect from a much a more formal setting. Yet the whole experience was relaxed, warm, and comforting. The beautiful patio is the perfect setting — cozy, inviting, and full of good energy without any pretension. It’s fine-dining quality in a super chill atmosphere that makes you want to linger for hours. Service was friendly and attentive, and everything just flowed so naturally. Scott visits every table ensuring every guest is happy and satisfied with their menu option. Faith who served me, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant to speak with! Hospitality is their ultimate priority and it is unmatched by others in the industry! I'm completely satisfied and already planning my next visit. If you want elevated food in a laid-back patio setting, Didi’s Downtown is the spot. Truly special! Highly Recommend!

Came here around 4pm and it was not busy. Sat super quick and waited for friends. I had ordered fried jalapeños off the happy hour menu and they were amazing. Then we started with the philly cheesesteak eggrolls... made with short rib! Amazing! I ordered the chili and a side of Mac n cheese just to add to the fun. The chili is sweet at first and a heat kicks in that made me fall in love... again short rib! The mac n cheese was piping hot and full of seasoning and cheese. The skillet chicken was a refreshing lemon sauce and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The scratch tenders were great... not as crispy as I would love, but the chicken itself was amazing. The hot honey chicken sandwich? By far the best fried chicken sandwich I've had. The bow tie chicken pasta was great. I need to go back and have more! The beignets for desert was great. The strawberry dipping sauce was the best (you get 3 different sauces). If you don't go due to the construction... you are depriving yourself of something great. Go have a meal that will

Our server Rebecca was incredible! Friendly, fast service and accommodating. This was my first time here and I got the chicken Cobb salad, my family got the burgers. They loved the burgers and salad was great too. I definitely will be back!

We had a good-sized group of about 16 to celebrate our grandson’s graduation. Service was great! Our food came out piping hot & very fast. Everything was delicious! I’d never had meatloaf fixed like Didi’s & boy, was it good! Redfish & grits were equally good. The guy playing & singing was really good, too! We will definitely be back!

AMAZING PLACE! Great food. HUGE portions! Served hot and with a smile. Honey chicken sandwich was massive! Top 3 fish and chips in DFW. Price was right! Will be back tomorrow!

We tried both of their fishes and they were delicious. Fresh, juicy and the sauces were excellent. Price was on point for the quality and portion of the food. We arrived an early dinner and it was picking up and was buzzing by the time we were leaving. I like the homey feeling of the location. There’s plenty of parking on site and on a lot across the side street.

Diamond in the rough! Randomly stopped by and was absolutely blown away by the service, cuisine, and welcome-neighbor vibes! Missy the bartender was an absolute delight and guided us through the menu. Highly recommend the Wednesday special of chicken fried chicken. Also had the opportunity to meet Scott the chef owner operator and he’s is not only a character but exact representation of the hospitality this establishment is built upon! Cannot wait to come back and experience the entire menu!

Really nice place w a history. It is in a home that was built in 1912. Huge patio. Plenty of seating. We went there to see a band on the patio. Generous scratch made meals. Huge menu. Guaranteed a good time or ping me. Oh and really nice bathroom.

Wow this place was a total sleeper. Every dish completely blew me away! Decided to try someplace new yesterday and saw this little downtown Frisco spot. Going in there was live music and prompt wait staff. Our waitress had a great attentiveness, and passed my water refill test with flying colors. Felt like a hole in the wall joint, and I can honestly say I was a bit skeptical when I saw the expansive menu that seemed to have everything. Boy was I in for a treat. We were hungry so we ended up ordering quite a bit, and every bite was excellent. Rarely does a place standout with ever dish. + Mahi ceviche was fresh and excellent + Cobb salad with chicken had a perfect amount of blue cheese and dressing + Redfish and grits blew my mind. Is was SPICY which I loved. Honestly I'll be dreaming about that one... + Salmon and orzo was fantastic as well. Perfect crispy outside but tender flakey inside. + Kids Mac and cheese was even fancy and great I will note that prices are a bit high but you get large portions, and frankly the quality was exquisite. They really seem to care here, and even the owner (I think) came around to every table to make sure they were ok ... Love that care and attention to detail. Least to say, we'll be back!
